A town museum was opened in 1999. Since then it has become an unforgettable place to visit for all visitors coming to the Hradec nad Moravici.
The museum arrange a few exhibitions value to different topics every year. For example "The Hradec nad Moravici and the travel industry" exhibition, that purpose was to introduce Hradec nad Moravici as a tourist destination. Tourism has a long traditoin in this area, tourists have been visiting this town already since the first half of the 19^th century. Another purpose of the exhibition was to incentive local inhabitants to travel abroad. Visitors could see here tourist maps, suitcases, cane and travel papers.
Another exhibitions is "The 130 years of fire company in Hradec nad Moravici".This exhibitions show the fire company in the picture from 19^th century to present day.
In this museumyou can find all information about history of Hradec nad Moravici. There are gathered all documents about the equipment of firemen here, as well as photographs and smallish engines and picture-card albums, tickets, monay, souvenirs, compasses, old railway guides and old motor-cycles, etc.
