The Czech Republic offers you excellent fishing opportunities and the most beautiful experience in the wonderful countryside.
Fishing is organized by Cesky rybarsky svaz (Czech Fishing Union, CFU). The structure and organization of fishing are based on Regional Boards. These Regional Boards associate Local fishing clubs, which are responsible on the care of fisheries, production of fish for stocking, sport fishing and also on the education of young fishermen. About 330,000 anglers are organized in 578 Local fishing clubs in the whole Czech Republic.
Rules of fishing in all waters of the Czech Republic have been modified by the Act on Fishery No. 99/2004 Coll. and by the Ordinance No. 197/2004 Coll. Fishing rules are therefore mainly unified in all the Czech Republic, but users of the fishing waters may modify or make them more restrictive. For fishing in the Czech Republic, it is necessary to purchase a State Fishing (rod) Licence and a Fishing Permit for the relevant fishery. Individual fisheries and also fishing permits are divided to Salmonid waters and Non-salmonid waters.
Fishing permits: Organisation of fishing in Czech Republic has big advantage. According to the structure of CFU, there are offered fishing permits with validity for all salmonid or all non-salmonid waters of every regional board. However, It is also possible to purchase a permit valid in just single fishery only or for all waters of the CFU. There are offered permits with validity for one day, two days, one week, two weeks, half-a-year and all-year. Other information and price lists of fishing permits you can get at the websites of CFU or at websites of individual regional boards.
