The Czech Republic is not only Prague (allthough tourists think so very often) - you can find interesting places and entertain yourself in other regions of the Czech Republic, as well. Therefore we provide here some useful links to cultural resources on the Internet. Why didn't we create our own presentation of cultural scene in the Czech Republic? Because there are already many sites on the Czech Internet which cover the same topics. We made pages covering the cultural scene in Prague, so try them first. Opera
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart visited Prague in 1787 to give the premiere of his opera "Don Giovanni", the following the wild succes of his "The Marriage of Figaro" there; later the great German composer Carl Maria von Weber was director of the German Opera House.
