In 1991 the badly damaged castle was given to Bernolakovo municipality.
Since 1993, the historic area with the castle has been leased to the new investor for a period of 99 years for realisation of the Information and Social Center for the capital of Slovakia - Bratislava. The baroque park was reconstructed during 1993-1996 and a 9 holes golfcourse was built in.
