Description:
The legendary story of a man who desires knowledge, power and immortality all for a price for which he paid. The new musical theater project reworks the legend of Faust and gets inspiration not merely from the Goethe classic text but also from the poetical traditions of Czech puppet productions. The production utilizes the confirmed methods of black light theater and enriches it with state of the art equipment, musical and dance resources. The untraditional arrangement of the classic theme opened new possibilities for the influential combination of the effects of black light theater with dynamic choreography and projection. A significant aspect of the production is the original scenic music and original songs with both Czech and English texts.
All colours theatre:
The black light theater, All Colours Theater, is located in the building that had an interesting fate. Originally it was built as the Carmelite monastery at St. Havel in 1671 by the renowned baroque builders Dominico Orsi and Martin Lurago. The hall in which you sit was a dining hall - that is, a refectory. It is decorated with a top quality baroque stucco ceiling and frescos relating to the original purpose (The Last Supper, James' Dream and Christ in Emauza from 1730 - 40).
