The chateau hotel Stekl is situated in the neighbourhood of the chateau of Hluboka nad Vltavou. Originally, the Stekl chateau served as a quarters for servants of the Hluboka Chateau, later it has been rebuilt in a beautiful hotel complex corresponding with the chateaus exterior as well as with the amenities. It provides accommodation in 45 luxurious rooms with stylish chateau furniture. The hotel also features a restaurant, a bar, a wine bar and historical salons which can be used as meeting rooms. Hluboka is a small village around the Hluboka Castle, located 10km north of Ceske Budejovice. The castle is from the 13th century, but its present appearance is from 19th century, when was rebuilt in neo-Gothic Tudor style as a imitation of Windsor castle.
