HORIZONT HOTEL Zelezna Ruda

The Mountain Hotel Horizont is situated on the slope of Mt. Pancír at an elevation of 1 100 m above sea level. It is a modern hotel with many leisure facilities. With an ideal location at the cable railway station, it offers a magnificent view of the highest peak of the Šumava Mountains, Velký Javor, and the Alps. The hotel is in the centre of a cross-country and downhill skiing area, hiking paths, and a network of cycling routes. The hotel provides accommodation in 90 comfortable rooms. It also features 2 restaurants, a snack bar and a congress hall.

Zelezna Ruda is a popular ski resort situated in the south-west of Bohemia, very close to the German border, in the Sumava mountains. The surrounding offers very nice walks (Spicak, Black Lake, Devils Lake etc.)
