About the area:
Plzen is an indurstrial town with a long history, the administrative centre of the West Bohemia. Plzen is famous as seat of the Skoda Engineering Works and mainly for its beer - Plzensky Prazdroj (Pilsner Urquell), one of the worlds best and most imitated beers. It has a nice historical centre and one of the Europes biggest synagogues - the neo-Ranaissance Great Synagogue.
